Mark’s the total package because he has created an environment at Total Export where team members are empowered to do whatever is necessary to delight and exceed every customer’s expectations, every time. No one knows Mark has lived in eight states and traveled to 48 of the 50 states. Only Montana and Mississippi remain on his list. He has lived in the Twin Cities on and off since 1984 and considers it the best place to live in the country. When he’s not at Total Export, Mark enjoys time with his three adult children on both coasts, traveling with his wife of 30 years to almost anywhere, and a bit of golf when possible. Mark has been involved with Total Export since 1995 and purchased the business in 2003. Mark believes the golden rule works in business as it does with people. This approach of treating customers and employees and vendors the way he would like Total Export to be treated has led to long-term success for Total Export and his other business ventures.

Mike’s the total package because he’s calm, cool, collected, yet relentless in his pursuit of maximizing staff and optimizing operations. No one knows Mike was a paramedic and a member of a fire department’s rescue squad. When he’s not at Total Export, Mike is hunting, fishing, golfing, or spending time with his wife of more than 40 years, most likely attending an event of one of his six grandchildren’s. Mike Harrington joined the Total Export team in 2015. Mike’s leadership skills and talent for staff development and management has touched every aspect of Total Export’s operations, from account
management to sales and your experience as a customer.

Andrew’s the total package because he has a passion for taking care of customers and making sure they are pleased with the Total Export experience. No one knows Andrew is fluent in business Spanish and held top-secret clearance during his service in the US Navy. When he’s not at Total Export, Andrew is playing chess or spending time with his wife and six children. Andrew Favorite joined the Total Export team in 2015. Andrew’s an expert in international logistics and the export and regulatory guidelines shipping overseas requires. Fluent in Spanish and Italian, Andrew earned his bachelor’s degree from the University of Dallas and served in the US Navy and Navy Reserve as a cryptologic technician and cryptologic officer.

Greg is responsible for providing customers with the TOTAL package of efficient and cost-effective packaging solutions. No one knows Greg grew up in Bloomington, Minnesota, attended Lincoln High School, and was a standout soccer and baseball star. When he’s not at Total Export, Greg enjoys spending time with his family, completing home improvement projects, fishing golfing, and woodworking in his shop. Greg Wurdeman joined the Total Export team in 2014. Greg has more than two decades of lean manufacturing experience managing complex production schedules that maximize the skills of our team members, optimize our efficiency, and continuously improve quality. Greg holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Metropolitan State University.

Ron’s the total package because he’s a wizard at Solid Works. Ron designs unique custom crates that keep our customers’ products safe, provide them with a cost-effective solution, and help lower our cost of production. No one knows Ron loves to play all things trivia, especially music trivia. When he’s not at Total Export, Ron is out experiencing everything the Twin Cities has to offer. He enjoys small-venue concerts and music festivals, sporting events, biking, and hiking in the parks. You’ll often find him at a dance recital supporting his two teenage daughters. Ron Schurrer joined the Total Export team in 2010. Ron’s expertise and talent for leadership help maximize every one of Total Export’s projects, from efficient design to sourcing cost-effective materials. Ron earned an associate’s degree in architectural drafting and design from Anoka-Hennepin Technical College.

Jeremy was brought into the Total Export family in January of 2020 to oversee in-house production. Jeremy is the TOTAL package because he not only brings years of management experience, he also rolls up his sleeves and builds right alongside the Total Export team of experienced, knowledgeable and expert craftsmen and builders. Jeremy grew up in Two Harbors MN, on the North Shore of Lake Superior. Jeremy has 3 sons, 2 dogs and a cat to keep him busy when he isn’t on the production floor. Jeremy loves cooking, biking, camping (and even ran a marathon once). Jeremy’s background was in sales and marketing for over 13 years before switching gears and putting his talents and passions into a new way of exceeding customers’ expectations.

Paul is the total package with over a decade in customer service and export experience. He is a St. Thomas Alumni with a BA in International Business and has studied, lived, and worked abroad in Japan and Australia. Minnesota has always been home and so Paul has worked for local Minnesota companies, helping them realize their full export potential as an export sales agent. Fluent in Japanese and certified in dangerous goods shipping, Paul is passionate about using his experiences to help people and businesses overcome the challenges they face. When he isn’t working, Paul is woodworking, reading, cooking for friends, or trying to beat Andrew at chess.
