Custom Crates & Skids

That’s why Total Export uses wood, foam, chains, and straps to block and brace your equipment within its shipping container. Shipping your equipment inside an international container rather than as a loose piece can save you thousands of dollars and shorten your transit times. We will work with you to ship your equipment cost effectively and safely.

Heat Shrink

Heat shrinking is a cost-effective packaging solution that keeps the content of your shipment protected from the elements, though it does not offer protection from physical damage. You can heat shrink your entire shipment or individual parts that are susceptible to moisture and the elements. Heat shrink protects against moisture and the elements outside your packaging, making it ideal for shipments that may sit outside for a year or more. Use corrosion protection in conjunction with heat shrink to maintain a dry environment under the heat shrink material.

Loading Coordination & On-Site Packaging

If your equipment pushes the limits in size and weight, we have the experience to handle the details for you. With 60,000 square feet of warehouse space, we also have the facility. We can coordinate specialty trucking equipment and cranes at your facility to load and transport your equipment to our location. But some items are just too big to move. In these cases, our equipment and team can come to you.

We document, photograph, and sort the equipment and then pack it for an efficient outbound shipment that arrives at the right place at just the right time. We’ll help you manage the details and essential paperwork to get the right equipment in the right shipment and prepare accurate bills of lading to satisfy your customer.
