The part was a large Rotor. It was so large it couldn't be put "in" a crate. We had to build a crate around the rotor as it sat on the truck. The finished unit was 40 feet long, 12 wide and 10 feet tall. Its value is 2.7 Million dollars. Its weight is 155,000 Pounds. We had to install trap doors in the sides so the DOT could check the safety chains at the various check points along the way. Every state required special permits for "oversized" and they weren't allowed to drive on the Interstate. It was being trucked to Texas and arrived in perfect condition.
